Scrapbooking

I have been (supposedly) participating in a class at Debbie Hodge's web-site. I won a copy of her book & then did nothing for 4 classes! (Don't tell...) Anyways, she had a challenge to use a sketch & make a page about a PLACE. It struck a chord with me so I did two pages. I have resigned myself to the fact that I can't really figure out where to put embellishments on the page. I am trying to let go of perfectionism & just getting some pictures onto the paper. Done, not perfect, but memories preserved just a little bit more.

BTW If you click on the picture, it will zoom up in full size & sharp. Somehow I skewed the image when I was trying to get it right.

I have my snapshots in 3-up albums that hold 300 pictures. Each slot lets you shove extra pictures in so in the end each album probably has about 500 pictures. I have at least 31 albums (yes, I just went & counted) so 31x500 = 15,500 printed pictures !!!!! Holy guacamole! I need to let go of perfectionism & just start slapping pics to paper.

Thanks for sharing this stunning moment with me. (OK, stunning is the wrong word... any other ideas?)

15,500 pictures!!! At least you print yours! I haven't printed a full year of pictures for myself in 4 years (since we went digital). Time to start ordering I guess.

Great pages! I love the lettering on the double page. What did you cut it with?

I used my Silhouette with a cursive font that started with a 'D'.

I mean 'S' - Segoe Script.

Wow!! I am amazed!! I have hundreds of pictures (that span more years than I care to count!) but they're all in boxes!! I am so impressed!!
